As a very occasional assault player, I actually enjoy it.. but the few times I did use it, my team was *very* helpful

It sits on my clan mech trophy rack striped of every thing. Meh. More to add to my stock pile of clanker stuff until I bring out the tbrs for fun.

Only because it can boat a metric ton of clan weaponry..

Well, yeah, that's the point of a DWF. You get what you go there for, y'know?

My current three builds are 6x LPL, 6x AC/5, and 4x AC/10. Each fun in their own way. Tried 3x UAC/5 2x UAC/10 but it runs a bit hot for my taste on the C platform, tried 8x AC/2 but the two tons of ammo you lose to the JJ really hurt there. :(

Yeah, I hope that the Legendary Dire Wolf has ECM in CT, but no JJ. I would be all over this mech!

Either that, or reinstate the ECM (but no JJ) in the DWF-Prime(I) like it was for a few months in summer 2021,
and I'm willing to buy the entire Clan Wave 1 just for this. ;)

Old one I have is a ER laser boat 6 larges and a bunch of small pulses, the one I got in the event is 4 ERPPCs and a lrm10andlrm15 with a 1.5 tons ammo+bonus node. It seems to work pretty well....

Evidently, it's not.

Evidently, it's not.

In T4/5 matches you could run a small laser dire and do halfway decent most of the time if the MM doesn't pull T1-3 into your match.
Also it's easy to get stuck in a tier with the way the MM works and the scoring system functions. I've seen cadets in tier 3 matches, tier 1 players(unit groups) in matches while in tier 4. It's either intentional, or the population is so low that tier doesn't matter - neither is good.

If you play at different times of the day, the style of play can be quite different and have a huge affect on your match score/output. -EU prime is a lot of poke and block lanes/jump in front of firing lines/little movement play. -NA prime is more about pushing and brawling, people hit fire and swap places to cycle and keep the pressure on. -Oceanic (before I opted out) always played to take advantage of the bad pings. High speed and hit scan.
Personally I can't get a feel for the EU prime style, and if you are NA playing Oceanic your score is lower just because of the bad pings.

Also hasn't ever made any sense that the weight classes all work on the same scoring system.
