Light = scout, harass, kill lights, support
Medium = scout, harass, kill lights, protect mediums and heavies, support
Heavy = support, protect assaults and stall pushes
Assault = break lines, support
I've had enough of being dragged down by bad play, poor understanding of the battlefield and lack of awareness of the situation. I'm done.

UAV though, is likely not a reason for any of the losses. Complete lack of coordination or understanding of when to attack/chill is.
Have fun with whatever game you head onto though, hopefully its a better experience.

Truth, I generally am in the top 2-4 on my team running just the various hunchbacks so long as I stay out of EU prime time style of play.

Gaining pilot skill is completely based on personal performance. I've gone a month losing most of my games and still have the T1 bar maxed out due my performance despite losing matches.
I have no idea what you mean by uav. I'm guessing you're playing an lrm boat and getting upset that people aren't getting you locks. I don't think I've used more than 5 consumables in all the years I played this game lol.

This is a typical misunderstanding between playing the game as an RPG and playing it as a competitive PvP game. You are arguing roles based on how you think they should perform in an RPG setting focused on acting where as this is an online PvP game where the main goal is to win matches. This is what in-game mech roles look like if you are actually focused on winning consistantly;
assaults - maximise firepower and armour to kill everything in front of them, especially at medium and long ranges.
lights - use speed to reposition&flank to kill vunerable mechs while also doing scouting and cap control when necessary
mediums - fill the gap between lights and assaults with an emphasis on filling in for light roles with more firepower and armour
heavies - fill the gap between lights and assaults with an emphasis on filling in for assault roles with more mobility
Players that build and utilize their mechs for these roles will have far higher winrates than those that try to play the game as a RPG or LARP session. The same is absolutely true of TT and every prior version of mechwarrior.

So after all these years you still haven't progressed in skill, even a little bit? Grow some hair on your chest and try to learn the game, have some initiative or something at least.
If you want it, you WILL become better. If you DON'T want it, well, guess you aren't getting better anytime soon. Oh, and buy yourself a decent PC at least, I've seen people try to game at 25FPS, maybe even less, don't do that to yourself. You're not doing yourself or others any favors there either. Go onto youtube, look up a guide on how to build a PC for less than 500USD, and there you go, you got a PC that can run the game at double or even triple the FPS.

There should be a rule that you aren't allowed to complain about your teammates unless you're at least near 300 match score average.
When somebody is averaging closer to 230, that just means they're not doing what any mech is capable of doing.
Solve your own gameplay and achieve higher personal scores - you'll increase in tier that way and match with people who play better. Climbing matchmaker tiers in this game is 100% on your own personal matchscore.

I returned at the end of November, was reset to T5 - played 245 games since then almost exclusively in mediums outside of a few random matches and event queue - a lot of those matches rebuilding mechs to fit the new weapons/quirks/skill tree, went from 5 to starting on tier 3.
All of that despite dealing with the same player groups you drop with, while in mechs fully 10-20 tons lighter (forget what the cap is on heavy). And only an average match score of 283 through all of that.
Looks like you are improving from the rankings list, but still probably under what you should be outputting with heavy mechs so probably sitting in the tier range that is honestly best suited for your current skill level. If you are getting LRM'd to death because you are still in tier 5/4, equip AMS or ecm, If the problem is that people aren't popping uavs or getting you locks, you definitely don't want to move up tiers.
If you really want to help your team improve their performance though, learn to type fast or get on the comms.
