I already have a Kodiak-3(C) that I play often.
Edit: The paint scheme isn't the reason why. Don't really care about that. Just saying I already have a KDK-3(C) that is already skilled up.

He runs a pink direwhale in the lower tiers. I see him now and then when I blast through with a new alt.

Not sure what to make out that gibberish. What are you going for?
I mean, it's not like this colour combination is anything new for a free mech event, so...?

This is a complaint, right? It looks like a complaint...
- It's definitely not the first time we've seen pink BattleMechs in this game. At least one past free ’Mech event was pink, and then there's the Heavy Metal Hero ’Mech. While the latter is apocryphal, Rhonda Snord's actual, canon Highlander was actually pink in at least one source, and did actually have speakers and subwoofers strapped to it, which is why the Hero ’Mech looks the way it does.
- Pink ’Mechs are far from the most outlandish camospec we've seen in the BattleTech franchise as a whole.
- At least one player has gained some amount of notoriety for playing a very pink Dire Wolf in the lower tiers; usually a C(S) in my experience, but I'm sure others might be able to attest to other variants being sighted as well.
- Almost no one ever plays matching camo in this game, for better or worse. Camo is expensive. Actually expensive. The free MC and sometimes patterns/color options that periodically get dropped into our collective laps does alleviate that significantly, but not nearly enough to make camo in general anything other than expensive, especially on a lance or even company scale.

Yeah I'm not sure what that OP is trying to say... My level of English cannot translate it to my brains...
But pink mechs are cool, color scheme might be pretty high reason why I get focused sometimes in that mech but whatever.

Or the stock Hunch-IIC's with the massive hyper bright grey ct target that you can't change unless you purchase patterns.

You rang? Also pink is a cool color although for my ecm stealth stuff I usually go a mix of greys since maps have a lot of greys. Pnt-kk with pink dragons makes every one happy to be hit with the blue water gun arm of happiness and love.

It's not designed to be for girls and/or not for boys though, that's what you are missing. Pink and red are valentines day colours, and gifts on valentines day are often chocolates, flowers, stuffed toys etc. So... Pink Kodiak Teddy-bear. THAT is where the theme has come from, it's not supposed to be stereotypically girlie.
