Lost Connection To Server

Attempting to reenter just plays the same cycle over and over. Even better, the next time I try, I get hit with multi-minute penalties for 'leaving a match early".
I ran the repair tool, but it still happens. Strangely, it was happening yesterday morning, but was able to connect without issues after 5pm. Now, it's back to the same cycle.
Anyone have ideas?

Interesting question. I run full windowed, but tried changing to Full Screen and the game crashed to desktop-actually closed-while waiting on the 2 minute "early disconnect penalty" timer. I wonder if it has something to do with this.

Thank you, that was it! Confirmed the issue on our end with Oceanic server, but still hunting down the exact cause. If you don't mind, could you share your city, in case this is a regional hick up?

Hi GM,
I am running through Steam. I will check file integrity next time I go to play.
I have been able to load Emerald Vale on NA and European servers without issue. My workaround for the time being has been simply to not play on Oceanic servers at all. I did recently switch ISPs, I wonder is there’s some issue there. It’s strange though. I don’t think I’ve had any other issues with any other maps.
I will turn Oceanic servers again and see if I can get you an error report.

Hello there,
If you are using the stand-alone client, please run the MWO Repair Tool. It can be accessed by clicking on the three vertical bars at the top left corner of MWO Portal.
If you are playing through Steam, please right-click on MWO and select Properties. In the Local Files tab click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
Could you try loading the Emerald Vale map on the Testing Grounds and let me know if it works?

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to send this, but
something has happened to me twice in the last 24 hours. Not a huge
deal, just a minor inconvenience. Still, I thought someone would like
to know about it.
After finding a quick match, on an Oceanic server, Emerald Vale is
selected. I don't remember the game type. The game goes to the loading
screen momentarily, then the screen goes black. After a few seconds,
the game reloads at the drop deck screen, with a message "Connection
Error: Disconnected from game server" (screenshot included). I've tried
logging out, then back in, to no avail. The error repeats
indefinitely. The real frustration is I incur the "left the match"
penalty.
Thanks for all you do! MWO is still a great game, and I keep coming
back to it. Cheers!

So you guys who get kicked back to the mechbay over and over again, check if you have the Oceanic Server still selected. Maybe it tries to connect you to a server that is currently not available.
