Any chance PGI could bring these back even if its on their own website.. They were really nice packs and at least for me they seem to be gone these days as an Aussie?

wierd only the solaris packs exist on steam, and if you search you will find mention of good deal steam packs, that do not exist anymore.


and why? other than maybe they need to give gabe a cut, but they DID have those packs on there.

I think Steam would be taking a cut of the sale as they do with sales of the game.

To me it would make good business sense to sell as little over steam as possible when you can redirect from in-game, store et al to PGI own sites.

That may be the reason there are not many(any) there although cannot say for sure

I asked that in the op.. i'm fine with them here on their own store and not steam for whatever reasons.

I just saw a whk-c(s) and wondered what it was, thanks for the info posted here.

I guess the performance packs could come back?...it was not linked to any other sale as a loyalty reward, like the cool bronze marauder or kingcrab.

Just curious, does anyone have a bronze paint recipe, or perhaps could the dev's look at adding metallic's to the paint list?

I've been asking for above packs for 3 years now, and MWO never even commented on this topic...

However, this Sept'2023 patch buffed up the Champion Mechs with (New): +15% CBills Bonus!

==>Therefore you can have:
~WHK-C(C) with maxed out +25% CBills Bonus (ie: +15% CBills Bonus Champion Mech, and total +10% CBills Bonus cockpit standing+hanging items)!

I believe that there are Champion Mechs for many of the above Steam Packs, all with maxed out +25% CBills Bonus!
~RVN-3L(C): maxed out +25% CBills Bonus
~CRB-27B(C): maxed out +25% CBills Bonus
~GHR-5H(C): maxed out +25% CBills Bonus
~KGC-000B(C): maxed out +25% CBills Bonus

Oh well, I was willing to buy these Steam Packs within MWO website to help MWO have better profits, but to no avail...

So above Champion Mechs are "good enough" for me, available for purchase with MC!

You can try to use Platinum Camo (from Platinum Mech Packs), or Jade Falcon Camo (metallic sheen), then add your closest colors for a closer match to what you are looking for.

However, some folks have commented (and I've also tried but failed) to make a "Gold" mech out of my Platinum Camo mech; some commented it looks yellowish or even brownish, but not exactly "gold". ymmv
