The structure of the design is not bad though, I love the micro terrain too.
Perhaps make the lighter purple lighter, the dark purple darker, and make the crystals more grey, that way the purple theme is retained, but there is more contrast.

There's something about the combination of the saturation, lighting, and 15 fps that give me pretty bad migraines and nausea when playing it. It's kind of a bummer because it's an interesting map.
yo folks, the guy has a point here
I got cataracts surgery awhile ago, which greatly enhanced my *seeing colors* ... but this map's too much, even at 75FPS
I too suffer nausea and severe eye ache when it pops up, no other way than thermal for me to play it until it's fixed
if it's ever fixed
no hardware issue.. it's the map"
Ditto with the cataract surgery, just 4/7 weeks into recovery for both eyes. Colour scheme on the new map is debilitating to say the least and the forum change is causing blue on black text floating. There are some excellent colour mapping/accessibility sites PGI should use before dumping crud like this

The more I play it (I really wanted to like it), the more I realize I have some kind of "visually overwhelmed blockage" going on with this map. There is just way too much to this map and my brain ends up shutting most of it out completely, which gives me a headache trying to play it, and also results in me getting my *** kicked by enemies that I half-blindly stumble right into without seeing...sometimes I'm even walking right into structure or obstacles on the map and not understanding why I'm not moving, as my depth perception is crippled.
So if you see my mech acting drunk, or just sitting in the DZ, sorry fellas - it's not on purpose.

Funny, but not completely inaccurate, considering player demographics.
I'd give up the game's night vision mode for a "visual clutter removal mode" in a heartbeat!

How are your symptoms on Grim Plexus?
PS. Revert the map changes while you are fixing the color contrast, as well. It is boring and unplayable.

Grim is OK for me. I ran screenshots by people on a migraine forum, and they all agreed it triggered symptoms, whereas hellebore (with similar assets) did not.

I actually haven't played more then 5-6 matches since this map dropped, as everyone was picking it, it was hard to avoid.
Map overall is fine, but the color bomb just makes me wanna puke.

Why doesn't the person designing the map use a postcard of a landscape as a reference for these maps?

Do any of you also get symptoms from the new map preview images?
Do you find CS2 map screenshots also trigger symptoms?

What about upgrading your PC?
Trying to play MWO with 15 FPS is not a good idea.

I'm on a completely new computer and still get the same symptoms even at 140 fps in the testing grounds.
