YOU have started a on a color, helps the GAME thing, but if you look around, how many drive a car that is white --- or black---- you are out numbered
THE best camo in the game is BLACK --- and silver, and stop being the lower 5 percent ----and work on being the 50% of folks silly people

Ecm and stealth is the only really effective camo, everything else automatically comes with a giant red target box.

Think OP is asking what is the best colors/camo for hiding your mech in QP, now that camo finally matters in this new Free Worlds Coliseum map (I love this map!).

Personally I've always used Digital camo, with dark/dull purple/green/grey colors. Come to think of it, the colors are actually similar to this Free Worlds Coliseum map! (fyi, I use Phthalo / Black Cherry / Subtle Grey). Boring as h***, but effective!

And OP was also saying that ECM (removes the red bracket from enemy's view), or even Stealth Armor is the ultimate way to hide your mech in QP maps.

Clearly PINK is the best color, as we established with the Kodiak event. The new map showcases this fact of life perfectly.

Dark greens, Dark browns and stock colors are the best.. Bright colors make you a target..

The red target box makes you a target, your paint scheme doesn't matter all that much other than shifting stock bullseye targets off of a ct/pot on certain mechs.

Unless you have an ECM/SA. Then, since the red box gets hidden at long range, it's just your color that can give you away.

Dude that should be a warning sign!

I'm much more wary of pilots that drop in brightly colored mechs!

It usually means that they don't give a flying F*** that you can see them clearly they are still going to kick your A**!

[edit] For that matter you should be extremely cautious around any enemy pilot daring enough to mark out their hitboxes with decals! These pilots truly have no fear of you!

I don't know about you man. but I'm looking for a machine to shred.

but I would like to be on a map that is compatible with the machine I chose. just for color matching. I love.

I like being inside a white machine on a snowy map.

At long range it is movement that gives you away, the colors are barely rendered other than a dark blob unless you are using the viewfinder, then it's still movement and they can see some detail. The queue is the movement if there's no sensor target on you, the color isn't even considered.

And in lower tiers you could be running around with 30m flames over the top of you or a giant neon sign "Mech down here" floating above and it wouldn't really make all that much difference.
