I just realized the Fafnir is on sale (wish I had noticed earlier) but I don't entirely understand the length of time it will be on sale for. On the "news" page it says the sale ends Monday at 8pm but when you look at the mech in game it shows a countdown timer saying 12days 11 hours (at this time).

If the "news" page is correct then what is the countdown timer for?

The ingame Store's countdown timer showing 12+ days sale period is the correct one.
Do have fun choosing your favorite mech!

The splash "news" page sales ending date had been extended due to mech discount hiccup, and this "news" page did not get updated.

I actually just learned you can sell old unused parts, so it's time to buy a Fafnir!

Fafnirs are fun! But don't sell engines unless you have a lot of that rating.
