Thank you for giving us the chance to earn a free mech; otherwise, we would have to buy it, and most players are cheapskates!

I see many replies about players with insufficient time to play this game.
The matches take a maximum of 15 minutes, almost no one plays Faction Warfare anymore.
There is sufficient time to play a few matches a night.

If you don't have the time to play, we don't really care anyway.
We are happy shooting stompy robots!

The alternative is worse, wasting time on MechWarrior 5 turn based garbage. 8-)

Last time I checked, MW5: Mercenaries was very much a real-time shooter, you probably mean HBS' Battletech...

I know. But it not means we cannot pair CJF-theme with Amaris' Folly, right?

BTW I managed to round-up my prize Gargoyle pretty nicely! 2xcER-PPCs + 3xHeavy Med-lasers. could hurt but keep calm n cold pretty well. So far it performed well (not as well as a 4xcER-PPCs Executioner)...

Trial mechs are available to anyone for free. It's mostly for new players who don't have their own mechs and/or want to try another mech style.
To see them on your mechbay, be sure you have "all mechs" (or just "trials") selected - it's on top of the mech list iirc.

I claimed the mech - at least according to the events page - and while I have the new mech bay showing up the Gargoyle itself isn't. Is the events page wrong and I need to get all 10,000 points or is there something else I need to do to get the Mech to show up?

Nevermind, I logged out then back in and it was there.
