Ha the results shows that most people pilot clan this tells me the is loyalists are dieing out. Which saddens me and tells me as someone who wants to do merc work in faction play that I wont get a payroll unless I side with clan..... which is kinda unfortunate cause clan mechs arnt fun to pilot like is
Mechs.... as someone who doesnt own clan mechs and operates like a merc is it possible for mercs to drop in on the clan side with innersphere mechs for a payroll I really dislike piloting clanmechs in general and I absolutely hate thier engine sounds something about thier frequency steers me away from them same issue with the commando that's the only mech on the is side I will least likely to be seen in.. so is it possible to make is mercs bring in thier machines without haveing to actually buy a clan mech and be contracted to the clans at the same time?

You could go with trial mechs. Felt the same way about IS mechs. eventually you will want to try and play every mech regardless of its origii. Starting this game I went for IS mechs and got destroyed in every match, saw some light with clan mechs, eventually went back to IS mechs and appreciated the different considerations in gameplay style. At this point (75 mechs on inventory), for me at least, wether a mech is IS or clan has become rather redundant.

Bit of a reach to ASSume that there are more Clan players than IS players because of a poll in the forums. Even that assumption requires an assumption that every player of MWO FP bothers to monitor the forums. From my time playing FP, I would conclude that the populations are fairly even, with maybe a minorly larger pool of IS players.
