From the reviews it looks like it was resurrected by a cash shop operation since you can buy your way to the top items and grinding for them is apparently very difficult since you don't get much for playing. But its free to play so why not.

Oh wow that kotaku 'impression' is rather scathing. Seems the cash shop vibe was spot on. Oh well its free to play so it might be fun to screw around with and see if they actually develop it and its not just another early access cash grab.

I was disappointed to see that there was no PvP. And yes, there were quite a few shortcomings.
