I'd like to try some mech(s) with a Rotary Auto Cannon (RAC) loadout but the option to add RAC's are not showing up on any of the 30ish mechs I own in the MechLab. What am I missing? How do you get to play with RAC's?

How To Access Rotary Auto-Cannons?

Hello Trotfox,
the mech you try to equip with a RAC of any kind needs to meet the following requirements:
- a ballistic hardpoint
- it needs to be an IS chassis, not a Clan mech. See https://mwo.nav-alph...iki/battlemechs for reference. You can also browse all available chassis and variants on that website and filter the database according to your needs.
You can identify wether a mech is IS or Clan when looking at the coloured bars below the Mechname in your mech select screen.

In the example above, the mechs with the light blue ribbon are Clan Mechs and the ones with the ocre ribbon are IS Mechs.
