I dunno what's changed in the past month or so but I just can't keep up with y'all anymore. Amazing pilots and amazing shots from across the map that just core a mech out before you can react. Losing on average about 8 out of 10 matches and just can't seem to get much done before I'm face down with my metal butt in the air.

Clearly I'm getting old and my ability to react and play the game just isn't what it used to be. So good on ya! Think I might be aging out finally lol

How about some creativity.

I have one bad non-meta bushwaker, just filled it with srms, small lasers, heavy MG. Was hiding and waiting for pray.
In big frozen city map I killed 3 sniper assaults one by one (attacked them from back). TTB was with enemy team too.

With quick glance you got 0,9 win ratio this month, which is only 0,04 worse than your quick play average. So no meaningful change there.

But yes... age is messing up your memory

It will balance out, it always does, even if it takes a while.

I've had 10+ game losing streaks more than once.

Tonight, I've been doing good all night then... my last drop.

I just peaked out in a fresh locust and a PPC boat CT'd me, didn't even see who nailed me, I didn't even get to fire a shot in the match.

HPPC and LPPC registered 41 dmg.

Heck of a way to end the night.

At 49 this is a large reason i switched to Assaults and heavies.. i sometimes play Mediums and seldom lights.. Never faster lights, my reaction and ping times just cannot handle the modern Mwo Metas.

TTK is way fast and the Assaults have a little better survivability.

Yesterday I was losing matches with 8-900 damage and the highest match score in the drop, also oddly lost a lot more ct's than is normal. It's kind of weird and very noticeable when you are running Hunchbacks with xl engines.

The only shenanigans I would call out is normal MM ones, but its also weird to not recognize name's in drops even when pulling into tier 3 matches.

Really? Man it feels way worse than that. I never check my stats. I also don't feel like I'm putting out the damage or contributing as much as I used to. Maybe it's a just a string of bad days. I just thought my reactions and braining wasn't so great anymore and the youngin's were just too good.

thats why i don't pay attention to stats. i more go on what i would call good or bad matches not win/loss. a good match can still be a loss (say a 10-12 where it was a good fight the whole way) and a win can be a bad one (say a 12-1 win that felt like clubbing seals or one i just couldn't personally get a shot in edgewise.).

as long as i do at least 500 damage and get a kill or two (or KMDDs) i consider myself doing my part more is better of course but as long as i do that i am satisfied. often when i lose badly but do in the top 3 match score i often speak up on VC saying "when i am one of the top players you know you done ****** up" but thats because i understand that i am a middle of the road player most of the time.

as for the quick deaths, yeah i have noticed many more CT deaths than usual of late.

Light mech events. 3+ lights per team, it causes more meds, because they can keep up, meds cause more 80kph heavies and 70kph assaults. Voila, gameplay has changed.

If it's not lights event - thas madness happens usually between 22-01 o'clock GMT+0

How to deal with? Try harder, get faster metamech, even light. If there are skilled teammates - regroup on them (TTB, Sean Lang, DATA, GeeRam), others will do it anyway.
