What about making a air superiority version of the game with the aerospace fighters and dropships?

So you want PGI to emulate the World-Of-Tanks/Planes/Ships games? Issue there is that doing any such thing would likely cause the population of MWO to drop even FURTHER, which would lead to both games having dismal populations and failing even more than MWO is currently struggling.
