I couldn't find any support section in the support section, and Steam forums are dead.

So I just discovered that all sound cuts when I start the game. I had the issue with another and discovered it was caused by the integrated mic in my headphones that I always have deactivated. Unfortunately, unlike the other game, I don't have the option to deactivate it in-game and then select the correct audio device. Is there something in the command lines I'm supposed to modiy or is the game basically broken? I wanted to do the mech event.

this game does not handle bluetooth well. you need to make sure its your default device when you launch the game if using it for stereo output,. for a voip headset you can change your mic in the sound settings. in either case do not connect or disconnect while the game is running, if you need to put it on the charger, you will have to exit the game and return to get it to work again. ymmv.

that said ive never encountered a bluetooth headset that didnt piss me off. latency, intermittant connection, just getting it to work, its horrible.

I understand the pain. I had to modify a value in the registry to be able to modify the sound correctly. Still, I haven't had any issues so far, and it's helpful for me since I work out at home and need to be able to move without the threat of cables ripping out the socket (like I did with a very old PC)

would be better if the game let you set your main audio device without having to restart the game. would save me a lot of restarts (many while a match is in progress).

i blame windows though because the way it sets defaults is really stupid. if your device is set to default and you put it on the charger, it assigns a default to some other device, often one you dont even use. the wireless earbuds i use for music steal default status when connected, and often dont return it, especially if their batteries run out. so i got to alt-f4, switch the default and load the game again. it helps if you disable and hide anything you dont use to make switching easier. would be so much easier if it would simply clone the main audio stream to all other output devices. you can do it with displays, why not audio streams?
