Holy crap. Have you guys seen the MRM 10s on the Uziel hero? They get a +260% velocity boost. Add that to the skill boost, and you are looking at +275%. There is almost no leading the target, even at maximum range. Yes, you can only mount 2 of them. But still. It is insane. I am hoping it doesn't get needed. It is fun.

Tried it, its fun, but the standard 4LPPC, 2xMRM10 build does run extremely hot. It is funny though since the MRMs are actually faster then the LPPCs.

The buff gives the MRMs velocity in the 1900s which is comically fast.

Its still an Uziel though and its only MRM20 so this balances it out.

Been there, did it, got the shirt. It's more like 1900 m/s which is faster than unskilled LPPCs on the same mech. I don't know how you do your math buddy, but a +295% velocity basically means: initial 500, plus an additional (almost) 3x on top of that.

yeah ran my Belial (i chose it as my hero pick the medium on the beach party event) a bit yesterday and it was fun. honestly it didn't feel like i was doing all that much damage but when that end screen came up i was like "damn when did i do that?". it like some kind of sleeper mech now and thats great for a chassis that you almost never see at all before the patch. thats wat i want ot of these balance and quirk passes. i want to see underused mechs on the field. i want to see more than just the same dozen or so mechs over and over.

to be completely honest i like seeing this kind of thing on a hero. give each one a single unique quirk though at the same time keeping it balanced. take the Uziel, it gets that +260% velocity buff but its only for MRM-10s and the mech only has 2 Missile slots. so at first glance it looks nuts but its limited. thats only 20 MRMs and its only Velocity not say cooldown. this kind of keeps it balanced. yeah building it with 2 MRM-10s and 4 LPPCs is a bit toasty but it works. (i stripped all but 2 of the JJs from mine though you could strip em all and get another DHS in there. i kept the XL i think, i usually prefer LEs on my IS mechs but you sort of need to use the XL on the Uziel to cram it all in there.) i always kind of liked the look of the Uziel and the Belial has one of the more interesting paint patterns in the game.

UZL-BE (4 LPPCs, 2 MRM-20s (2t ammo) running an XL 255 with 4 DHS, 2 JJs, and endo)

ammo feels a bit low but in game i have yet to have a match where i ran out.

...MRM base velocity is 500 m/s, so basically quadrupling it puts it closer to 2000 m/s. You know, faster than ER PPCs travel.

So with the LPPC hsl+1 that lets you alpha 4xLPPC and 2MRM10 (42 alpha!)without Ghost heat or needing to lead your target different for MRM vs LPPC, pretty rad.

Pretty much, and you can take it as the summer event free mech. I just wan to point out again, its an Uziel. Its fun, you can have decent matches in it, but don't expect anything crazy from it just because of the quirks.

Uziels are like jenners. Can fit in some fairly decent firepower and are mobile but have terrible geometry.

yeah the hitboxes for the Uziel are bad but at least all the weapons are cockpit Lvl or higher so thats a plus. some mechs i love but boy do they have some low slung weapon mounts.

It does run hot but chain firing all 6 weapons works wonders and keeps the dps pressure on when the heat meter is rising too fast and you have to fight back in closer quarters.

The ingame velocity stat is correct, the purpose of the 260% velo quirk on the MRMs was to make them sync with the LPPCs velocity wise. I'm unsure why MechDB is showing an incorrect velocity boost, I'll get with K2B and see if I can find out why it's doing that.

When it comes to ingame weapon numbers such as range, velocity, cooldown, basically everything in that popup window is automatically generated and directly pulling from the stats. They can be trusted and are accurate(with the exception of MG velocity that was already brought up. I'm looking into removing that, but it may be a bit).

Nobody cares, LRM's are for people who still think Disco is alive. Everyone hates them, and comp players who are backing the forward balancing of weapons only use Gauss PPC, or Uber Brawl 1-2 shot kills that you actually requires you to aim on your own.

And yet multiple mechs can make their LRMs fly over 300m/s with quirks and not even counting skills.
438,9 is fastest LRM flight speed (with skilltree) I can find with minute of searching.
