Right Torso gun is perfectly possible to hit at anything but an angle significantly lower than the mech being shot at. Rear side torsos get tagged constantly.

Initial proposal: make the side of the Right Torso gun fairing that faces to the left of the mech CT. Make rear side torso boxes flat against the rear cowling face - no overhang to the sides of the cowlings.

Related proposal, less likely to come about: show hitboxes on purchased mechs in MechLab especially the dynamic ones that are generated when weapons are placed in certain slots. This should not be up for players to guess at. Knowing the hitboxes in Lab doesn't even correlate to being able to hit them, so this is not something that would cause unfair advantages.

Err... just to double-check:

A) Are you talking about the 75ton Marauder (MAD-3R, etc.), or

B ) Are you talking about the 100ton Marauder II (MAD-6S, MAD-4L, etc.)?

If that RT gun hitbox is already configured in that way I really couldn't tell. I did go looking at the RabidQuail stuff and didn't see the RT gun fairing at all in that map.

RabidQuail stuff?
