This is an ongoing guide on Google Docs. A collaborated effort from multiple top players that contains:

• Hero Buy Tier List
  For which hero mechs are the best to buy when there is a sale or a free giveaway
  
• Legend Mech Builds
  List of optimized builds for each Legend mech to give a more informed choice on which one best suits your playstyle
  
• Ongoing Free Mech Build List
  List of optimized builds for each free Monthly mech that you can get from PGI's monthly in-game events
  
• Chassis guides
  Featured chassis' and a more in-depth guide on builds including Mech performance stats from K2B's MechDB
  
• Skill Tree Guide
  Outlining the best skills to take, what is mandatory and what is good optional picks for different situations and playstyle differences

This is an ongoing work in progress. For each section we include an update date in the DD/MM/YY format. This will mark how recent of a change there was in builds.

It's got build ideas for all existing Legendary Mechs!

I particularly like the "Recommended" stamp of approval, for:

The Stone Rhino section is being worked on with internal testing and top player's opinions after using them. We're hoping to push out the section sometime soon!

The MAD-IIC-DN (aka Dreadnought) did not make it to the GrimMechs elite list thus far.

With the coming of the new weapons update, we're working on testing weapons and seeing how they perform through a long series of QP matches.

We are currently working on:

• SKILL TREE UPDATE
  
  Adding optimal skill tree setups for the new weapons
  
• MECH BUILD UPDATE
  
  This is a rough one, as a weapons update means every single mech in the game has a new build, some new builds may cause older builds to become irrelevant due to better match performance.
  
  On top of this, some new weapons have poor performance such as the Proto AC/8, and are bound to be adjusted by PGI/Cauldron, which will influence build DPS numbers.
  
  We'll be updating and adding new builds to existing mech categories on the guide, however this process will be slow. If you can't find a build for a mech that you want to try out you can either:
  
  Join Baradul's Metal Mansion Discord
  To ask us questions or tailored builds in the #mechlab channel
  
  or
  Search the Grimmechs Database
  Which is also being constantly updated but does not have mech category restrictions
