As the title says, make it as obvious as possible, and enjoy the show. I just played the new map, and i am really tired of circling in one direction, i mean most builds take it into consideration, you have the tools.

Thanks and have a nice day.

I have basically never seen a circle on Hellebore. So, Hellebore already meets your request. It's also one of the least picked and apparently most disliked maps.

I think it's disliked just because of huge verticality it gives, and most people who dislike it are pilots of not jump-capable mechs. I personally love it, it actually does prevent circling better than any other map, partially because of that verticality.

Solaris City also dont get AS circly as some other maps, probably because of people utilizing the roofs and elevated roads, but it's not nearly as good as Hellbore at it.

Though i would still love to see a map with not traditional geometry and layout, something that would change QP gameplay at least a bit, most of maps nowadays are either a big field with a bunch of small covers or a big circualr bowl or cauldron which both makes NASCAR very common and also gives sniper meta a free food. Would love to see better and less conventional map added to game...

Oh don't get me wrong I actually revel in how much Hellebore pisses off some people, the verticality is very severe and you'd think a Summoner would be able to manage it but no. Think that's more a matter of PGI making jumpjets suck by fiat though. Hellebore is remarkably difficult to do the usual murderball NASCAR crap on and that's a good chunk of the hate right there. It can be rather mazelike and frustrating if you have to leave high areas without a LOT of JJs, but it's also very pretty, actively discourages some of the worst habits the playerbase has, encourages playing Quake instead of Doom, etc.

It can be sniped on, midranged, brawled in spots. There's a lot of places that AREN'T up top to help you seriously put a dent in a blue-beam-plowman's squatting session, it's just that without JJs that can be really difficult to actualize unless you have the labyrinthine layout and all the ramps memorized for safe approaches in the absence of jump capability. The shadows cast on Hellebore are legit useful at times.

It's one of the only maps that actually male JJs feel like a big buff to mech's mobility, rather than a survivability because of leg dmg spreading. Highlanders and other JJ capable assaults are remarkably more useful there, their lower arsenal of weapons are now easier to use than some alpha-gremlins' platforms like laser T-Wolfs or D-Wolfs. Verticality is always a good thing, because the more there are variety of hard-to-navigate terrain on map the more actual strategic maneuvers will actually be viable on this map. Take Canyon Network as a counter-example - you have a big maze of canyons that is completely exposed to snipers on the rimward hills, and every canyon is extremely vulnerable to missle fire because of lack of height differences between locations. Hellbore IMO is one of the best and most fun maps to actually play around, due to sheer amount of possible flanks and accessible spots that JJs allow to reach. I would really love something like that as a new map.
