Tweaks for quirks and weapons? Sure! New maps? It never hurts! New mechs? Sure keep them coming! Nothing against those

But the only thing that really will change this game (for better and for worst) is new weapons, new support abilities, any form of countermeasure for mech hugging! It shouldn't be a thing, honestly I would think nocking down mechs is a good deterrents for lousy mech driving skills. Incorporate melee in some form even if it is a gimmicky solution.

Honestly the only real criticism I have on this game, is that it feels too gladiatorial, it doesn't do enough to make it feel like war.

and stop making a game appealing for CoD fans PGI!

Ok.. half of this makes sense.. but then you go and say it's appealing to COD players, if it was... there would be money pouring in.

I think adding melee is a great idea, it's been brought up for about 10 years, I still want it. I think adding melee would certainly increase the gladiatorial feeling, and I like that a lot!

I think knockdowns of some kind, or a larger penalty for mechs colliding. Especially when it's Assault vs Light would be fantastic. I'm a fat *******, I'm sure I'd crush a baby if I ran into it, and I'm sure it wouldn't do well if it ran into me.

New weapons are supposed to be on the slate for this year. It's August, and I honestly haven't paid close enough attention recently, but I still haven't heard what those weapons might be from any credible source.

New mechs, new maps also great, and yes keep them coming, in addition to the map idea. A map in some way specialized to each house would be fantastic, and a huge project. For more than one year.

Agree but, just like other games, overwatch, warthunder. At the top of my head, those are competitive games that manage to pull it off while rolling their own thing, while MWO still feels kinda half backed (I was kinda in shock when I realized this game ve been around for a decade) with recycled game modes we have seen before, but executed in a fashion that's rather ...lackluster

The MW5 weapon variations, BF ACs, and SB lasers seem like a no brainer. Burst fire ACs would be a nice addition for Clan mechs as well since some people can want single shot clan ACs instead.

Missile systems could get inferno or acid variants for very situational builds.

Melee and melee weapons also seem like reasonable adds since there is an obnoxious amount if face hugging that occurs with certain mech pilots and mechs in order to screw over a persons convergence points, or light mechs hiding below assault mechs fire arcs.

Light autocannons could be a nice addition to help flesh out some builds and its borderline criminal that the Long Tom isn't in the game.

So it's nuts that this isn't on the official site yet, but you may want to look at this: HAGs, binary lasers and x-pulse lasers in August patch.
