Could we pretty please get a velocity buff quirk for this mech; something around 15-20%? Nothing more, nothing less. Thanks!

I'm just surprise any of the variants besides the energy one have any quirks besides the bare minumum since they're not popular enough like the swayback, hell some IS Hunchies needs some love like the 4sp that thing have no real quirks to speak of.

Sometimes I wish I was blind....
-25% srm cooldown, +10% velocity, -15% energy cooldown, -5% energy heat, this mech is brutal enough.
-30% crit recieving, decent armor quirks, massive structure quirks, + pretty decent hitbox, this mech is a tank.
the only bad thing about the HBK-4SP is the lack of jump jets

The 4SP is probably the best hunch across both sides.

I would give the B some small LRM/ATM quirks and the C just anything. The IIC is quite good and has great hardpoints and A is of course the best medium in the game.

The only IS Hunchie that needs some help is the 4J. But it is suffering from its hardpoints rather than lack of quirks.

Funny that when offered information showing that your take on the 4sp is wrong... you reply only with a ****** insult. The 4sp is perhaps the most standout of all the hunchies, and is a solid comp mech. I to be clear, I think you're silly and possess a poor grasp of the game mechanics. You have over 2700 posts, yet so little understanding.

He replied with a snarky comment wishing he was blind if he goilnna say something stupid then expect something stupid in return but I'm not offended I pity the poor soul's blight and offer em a solution if they don't want to see the world.

The only thing i would change is giving the IIC original some Ballstic ammo quirks.... they all seem fairly good to me i don't use them much...

though looking at the hunchie IIC again i would give them all just a few points to their armor quirks maybe about 5 more added to the ones they already have. even that would still leave the IIC with less armor than the IS
hunchie

off topic but i really think the kitfox needs to be beefed up it's got the same armor as an arctic cheetah. i think it needs a tiny bit more.

That's the mostest thing to have to say to a snarky comment but I don't give a ****. If he hates his own vision douse it with bleach so you won't suffer from it ever again.

Wow, that flamed up fast.

Back on point. How about them velocity quirks so this mech can reliably hit mechs that aren't directly facing it? :D

Anything with HAGs is good now. LOL

I don't want to play HAGs on this varient though. I'd just like to play the canon version and not have to be super patient to land shots.

I don't want armor quirks and I don't want ammo quirks even though they would be great because I feel it would take away from the spirit of the mech. I just want to be able to more reliably hit targets at range.

This is better: what if they remove all the stupid quirks that they keep stacking endlessly, so nobody feel anymore that a particular mech need "something else" to work?

The 4SP can reliably run xl275, 5 mpl, 2 srm6/a with 2.5 tons and bap. Strong loadout and by far the best hitbox selection among the hunches and reasonable enough structure quirks that it can operate with an is xl to accommodate a solid firepower loadout that is mostly pinpoint when ranged with mpl.

Most of the rest of the hunches are pretty solid. The IICs could use about half that last nerf back in armor or structure. The 4SP though is by far the most reliable, with MPL as your distancing the srm6/a are near back to the pinpoint spread so you can very consistently hit 5-600 damage and account for 3-4 kills straight into t2/1 matches. The IIC-B is slightly behind if you are familiar with ranging clan srm6/a. I would put the Deathwish in third just because of its silly burst even before they jumped it to HML, might not account for as many kills but you should have a hard time pulling less than 5-600 unless you forget to fire back.

Nah, only thing ballistic HBKIICs need is ST armor. Laser variant doesnt need much help but, with ballistics at best you can do 2xUAC20, 2xLBX20 and recent addition, 2xHAG30. LBX is relatively weak offense, while Uac is good dps, it dies against a fart, and HAG variant dies even faster especially with deadly explosions. Its offense overall is similar to a heavy but not quite, and yet the model has gigantic side torsos with armor less than a shadowcat's. Its agility is that of a heavy as well. All in all, i think during the quirkening, ballistic HBKIICs got left in the wind due to chassis' reputation. Whenever i field them i feel like i should stay on backlines, and for brawling builds that just sad.

hag's are a little big on this mech which is already kinda strapped for space. on top fo that there's the danger of the hyper gauss exploding, something alot of people overlook when saying the HAG is OP i wonder what the explosion damage is on them it'd make a better argument against the haters if we knew.

i still think the IIC needs ammo quirks for the uac 20's at least.

HBK-IIC and A model are still one of the strongest mediums in the whole game but I could see it getting buffs nowadays if I compare it to direwolf which is another strong mech with good quirks.

Can't disagree with any of that, but I doubt PGI feels like giving a Clan mech with such good high mounts a lot of love so that's why I'm just asking to allow the IIC-O to reliably hit moving targets with the UAC 20s. Plus it's kind of fun piloting a death trap. :P
