I greatly prefer these Light events that aren't just 1v1.
1v1 lights has a bad wait time vs match quickness ratio, and its less viable to run non-meta builds. This event was great for skilling mechs.

I've been enjoying this event! I don't really run any light 'mechs in the regular queue, so this gives me an excuse to take my stuff out. Pocket medium 'mechs like the Cougar and Adder really shine here! RAC builds also seem pretty effective.
