Now Campaign mode.Basically this should be a co-op mode or single player mode with its own c-bills mechs etc.At the end of the campaign you can get rewards like in events varying from cosmetics to mechs,weapons, currency or reputation.
The campaign should be one of a kind like a monthly deal.You can do one campaign per month. This way you will want to be careful and dont mess it up that much.
You will be a merc with a starting dropship that will have mechs of either yours or trial (the new cool trials

A certain amount of c-bills should be given for the campaign that will be for the campaign only and you will use it for repairs buying new mechs and weapons during the campaign.This way a micro management is in order what to repair or save c-bills for weapons mechs mechbays to expand to a 3rd lance etc.
Battles during the campaign.Since it will be a co-op or single player you need to fight against AI (Artificial Intelligence) mechwarriors.Those guys need to have different degrees of difficulty.At the start of the campaign you dont have to fight an elite veteran that can kill you without ever see him coming.Novice pilots will do the job in order to have some fun and wanting to play some more.The difficulty can scale as you move in the campaign.
The campaign could have a number of targets that need to be destroyed or captured and salvage.All the salvage should be yours.So if you snipe an atlas in the head you can have all its weapon armor etc intact.If you destroy the atlas down to its last atom then no salvage parts for you.
The maps of the campaign should differ from brawlling maps to sniper maps to lrm maps.This way you will have to get a variety of mechs and not one build that will be used on all missions.
You drop on every mission as a lance you and 3 more.In some special mission you can go solo.Like some inflitration or scout mission for example that need a stealth and/or fast light mech.
Another cool feature should be you can always at any given time quit the campaign and cut the losses or secure gains of the campaign.In order to do so you need some milestones to be done.Meaning some objectives to be complete so you have some rewards secured.This could mean that you can fail the campaign and get a minimum of rewards for participating.
The campaign mode could be attached to faction play.Picking up a faction and doing the campaign for them so they will get some points on faction play and reach a target planet where there will be traditional faction play lets say a weekend event to determine the winner.</p>
Campaign mode could also be attached to units.Special unit campaigns where only unit members can participate with unit dropships etc.The options are many.
