A little known feature of the latest nvidia driver revisions has been the inclusion of a video upscaling AI algorithm that uses the same rtx cores that raytracing and dlss use to vastly improve the look of lower resolution video on 4k screens even improving native 4k content. The 1.0 version was released a few months back and it worked okish but didn't do well on motion and was very gpu intensive inducing almost high end gaming loads.
But the latest driver has a 1.5 iteration and its much improved with noticeably better motion handling and a lot less stress on the gpu itself unless you pick the highest level of upscale. Definitely work checking out if you play a lot of low res content on a high res screen especially for some of the free game and movie sites that tend to have a bit more compression artifacts than normal paid streams due to lowering the bit rate to save bandwidth. This method cleans that up quite well. Nvidia has been failing a bit on the hardware side but their drivers and features still seem to be top notch.
