I'm not sure why once AGAIN, I'm seeing snide anti grouping comments.
If you choose top solo and not group in a multiplayer game, where you are supposed to group up that is on you and not Nova.
He's just making a post where he is happy he had a good game and a brawling one at that.

How is he virtue signalling?
Brawling in an online robot game isn't worthy of virtue. It's not a subject where that term applies.
"meta/grief mechs in a premade against pugs" again, that is on the pugs not him.He is not griefing by playing with his friends. Game is meant to be teamwork, not solowork.
The 6T's are not grief, nor meta. blow arms off they are useless.
Craels? Grief? Only if you allow them close to you, and even then...if your build is all sniper "support" that again, is all on you.
The only real griefing here is people using the smear "!premade" and griefing themselves by not being social and having a group, even a group of two....

Dropping with friends is the best part of an online PVP game. Its fun. Never shame fun.

And if anything, Novakaine keeping his Tier visible tells you that this was not a group of T1 players slaughtering the innocent. it tells you that a group of people had a fantastic game and that this occurs regardless of tier. This is a good thing.

My only question... how did you fit LRM's in that thing, Novakaine?

I mean it's nice guess but it looks like premades just farming pugs in qp, still doesn't change the fact it's much more viable to play midrange and not bother with brawling.

Anyone who says brawling is dead just needs to suck less at brawling. I get absolutely slaughtered by folks at under 300 meters rocking SRMs and RAC combos.

you can still get good brawls, but for every one you got to play 10 games where you are sitting around waiting for your team to find their legs. good brawls are very ephemeral. but sometimes you get a match where everyone is brawling and it is good.
