Review the Solaris City map and remove the multitude of trap points created by bridges dropping to the ground or being too narrow an access way to get a heavy mech through. Same as the trap point under the bridge close to spawn point on Canyon that can block any tallish mech.

125% Speed
Mediums and Heavies
5 or 10 Minute match time.
The Idea is that you would be able to do matches very quickly and still get plenty of damage for Match Score.

Also really liked the 3v3 mediums event we just had; more smaller matches like that doing other weight classes would be great. Seeing the test maps get some use was also good fun.

Fast Forward event:

Brawl battle:
collision damage + 100000%

Oh oh, or make lockons times instant. Possibly in conjunction with the above.
And/or reduce backpedaling speed to a crawl or even disable it entirely. Make every match like the intro to a Mechwarrior game or one of the cinematics.
Or remove the cooldown on artillery so that you can actually enjoy getting the perfect arty shot off without the 100% certainty that the millisecond you get an absolute one in a million strike positioning, someone on your team is going to drop smoke on a wall two feet in front of their face.
Crank the fire rate up on PPCs or better yet, RACs, to a crazy amount.
Remove the charge time on gauss (but maybe not HAGs).
Randomize warhorn sounds
Patch the knockdown code back in and allow us to bask in the laggy jank. See if you can get Paul back for some hearting.

For mech sales, how about 50% off all Inner Sphere mechs the first half of the event, then 50% off all Clan mechs for the second half. That way, everyone has the chance to buy what they want at half price.

That's basically impossible. There's limitations. Also, instant lock would not be fun
