Adding tweaks to ammunition, seismic sensor range, heat dissipation and HSL could be transformative on overlooked mechs.
Pick the least used Mechs (you should have the info available), call it the Dirty Dozen, add a unique locked warhorn or a 10 percent credit boost (or just create Champion versions) and let people play with then. Don't pick Atlases, Mad Cats, Urbies (or any Heroes) and let's see some variety out there.

For each point of Firepower over 50 you start with one less point of armour from each spot on your Mech excluding the head. For each point under 50 you gain a point. So my Atlas 7-D with 80 points of Firepower would lose 30 points from each of the arms, torsos and legs. Or you could do the same effect with speed - the more weapons you have the slower you move.

I noticed this on all my (three) drops.
As for event proposition, please refrain from doing stuff too stupid that are only fun twice and get stale quickly.
8v8 with dropdeck is great for example, but meme events like Atlas only wet noodles fight get boring pretty fast.

In which case you can stop playing the event queue and go to quick play for the same old boring game modes. Because, you know, it's not like quick play stops existing during event queue...

With Atlas only, on the other hand, it's pretty flavorless because there are only a couple good builds for each bracket and you're forced to go slow instead of having a choice between chassis.
Additionally, there are no trial mechs in those classes so the vast majority of new players cannot actually even participate in the event, which imo is not friendly to the community. Even something like "Atlas or Stalker" would be better for example because the Stalker has a trial mech.
One more note I have is that with the current timing, most NA players and EU players alike will only get to play one of the events of the day. PST seems like the only time zone even considered with a 10pm swap. As the other 2 most populous, Central and Eastern NA are midnight and 1am respectively. EU is a little better with 7pm but for a lot of people that's still before they could get on. Currently feels like a 24-hour cycle except the one you wanted might've been the one you missed. Even a swap every 2-4 hours between 2 modes for a 24h cycle would be much better than this...
As for future event suggestions, I think that the heavy/assault ones only are overused, I would like to see more light/med (together) drop deck events to get a semblance of balance. And I'm sure the reason is technical limitations (1 or 4 only) but having a 2-mech drop deck 4v4 would be pretty cool, still getting the drop deck experience but making it a little more fast-paced while also getting something refreshing.

This is because with bonus armor, the paperdoll does not display any of the damage until the bonus armor is broken. If a mech has 150 CT armor with 50% bonus, once 75 damage is dealt it will start showing as yellow and the rest of the scaling is like normal

They tried that before. The larger team size makes the queue take significantly longer for matches to form, especially once the seal clubbing tryhards start dropping in groups and troll the queue for several hours at a time. Many other players get turned off by that crap (I know I do) and go back to QP. Allowing groups to troll the queue pretty much negates the entire point of having an event queue (that's it's something different than what happens in QP every evening in Europe and NA). If anything, they should drop groups completely for the event queues. Let MM actually function for once.

I very much appreciate that conquest was used for at least one of the event slots. I have to admit that it seems that nearly every event falls into essentially one of two categories: Brawl or memes.
It would be very much appreciated if you could add at least one more conquest event, and try to use existing quirks like the capture accelerator one, +strike capacity, or +strike duration to make them even more engaging.
Especially when it comes to trying out new things, I think it would be useful to use event queue to try these things out just to see if/how they work in game.
For another example, incursion is no longer in quick play, but is it possible to implement the radar scan feature as a "constant UAV" for both teams in an event? That would be reminiscent of some older FPS shooters where you could always see the enemy on your minimap. It would be interesting to see how matches would play out if both teams were always aware of everyone's positions.

When there's extra armour from the EQ settings, the paper doll only reflects damage after the extra is gone.
