EQ with dropdecks is so much more fun, yet you're going to shove the damn Solaris into our face again.
Just admit Solaris was a flop, and start running monthly 8v8 EQ dropdeck events. Stop trying to recover this 1v1 pile of dung...

But you actually can field Centurion.
Patch is on 21st and EQ ends on 22nd, with last EQ being Mediums only. It's perfectly made, so you can play with your Centurion right after patch

But you can pilot the Yen-lo Wang which is much more lore accurate :B

The way it was originally implemented didn't work, but in EQ it has not been a flop. Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean others don't, which they do, we can see how many people are playing and we get feedback other than just your own. Once a month there's a Solaris-related Event Queue, otherwise they're non-Solaris. Play the EQ you enjoy, and don't play those you don't enjoy.

I will continue to endeavor for earlier notice, but that doesn't mean it will always happen depending on scheduling and time available. But the events last at the very least a minimum of 4 days up to a week, so there should be enough time for most adults to plan on participating even with late notice.

I will look into doing a post-patch Bolt-Ons and Decal sale, but there are issues involved, mainly that I have to manually enter each item individual item into the sale, so I may have to limit it to certain Bolt-Ons and Decals. I'll look into on Monday.

I've given a lot of thought about what you've said here, and I suppose my most measured response to it would be as follows. If the event were exactly the same all 4 days your position certainly makes sense. Most adults can schedule at least some time around work and family in that window with zero advanced warning. However, if the events are actually different (as at least I feel they are) people can miss out on these short fun windows. Take today as an example - 4's with heavies on canyon looked interesting to me, but this wasn't announced until about 4-5 hours before on a Saturday morning where I live. No way I'm noticing this in time were it not for a friend messaging me. And for those of us with families/kids by that time plans are likely made anyway so it's simply way too late for at least me (and I can't help but think I'm not the only one). Really its a shame that the event queue has become one of my favorite modes in recent years because I think after so many months I simply need to accept that notification will simply not change and let this topic go...

If there's a possibility - bolt-on sale would certainly be welcome!
Perhaps you can do just Head Bolt-Ons this time to make it easier for you to implement (and it kinda fits with Centurion Legendary).
That way you could also repeat it this sale next time, but with bolt-ons for other parts of the mech.

I wanted to pumped my new Warhawk. The assaults time is evening for you. For me it's two o'clock in the morning.

It would be really nice if match score in these games didn't count towards the leaderboards. Light matches even if you do well are still going to be very low scoring games.

If it's helpful to know I don't think anything done in event queue affects leaderboard stuff

Is anyone else getting a "no available servers could be found at this time" error message when trying to join the event?
