this thread should be separated, put on a hard drive, removed from the pc, run over by an ant, a cockroach, a snake, a horse, a buffalo, an elephant, a hippo, a SUV, shot at by gangsters, a firing squad, rebels, fighter jets, and finally crapped on by the most diseased ridden animal there is before being shot into the depths of space to be permanently erased by the sun...just to prove that. this is not WOT!!!!!!...have a nice day :)

We are almost nothing like WoT. Lots of things are from Mechwarriors.

People just don't recognize them and find the next obvious bunch of features, which are also in WoT. That means we have 1-2 similarities, but we'e completely different game altogether. :)

Well Said

How many times are you going to be a snitch today? if the dude with the founders tag wants to let people know he plays in the beta thats between him and MWO staff. You're not staff so I suggest you either apply for the job or ****.

WoT wasn't a pay to win game at all, the number of players using real money to buy gold ammo for random battles was very very low,and the number of clans that won gold in clan wars was even lower, you would have to spend hundreds of dollars a month to shoot gold ammo in randoms, most gold ammo was used in clan wars, and that was shelled out by having land, the only thing paying got you was less time having to grind,i myself, bought gold every month to keep my account premium, and bought exta dfor converting exp to unlock tanks i wanted to fool with which is what will happen with this game, you wanna get your stuff "right now" then shell out the cash, ppl who cant pay have to grind it out but in the end, the devs have said, everything you can buy with real cash you can get with c-bill, so what they mean is, if you don't want to grind for a week for that new engine , you wont have to, or that's the impression i got reading the forums and such about it, WoT was really fun in closed beta , but the player base killed the game for me, and every patch the game got more and more stupid, see woT is just a tank game , no history, THIS game has a long history, i remember playing battletech in the back yard on a table when i was 8 and there is psychotic gamer fans who have played some form of it , for like 30 years, i suspect the devs will have to work over time, to keep the droves of mechwarrior fans happy

I hope not :-)

WOT was for a few days really a pleasure, nice graphics BUT : No "deeper meaning" in the end game. If you have the biggest tank..what else ? In the end highest tier fought highest tear, everyone investing in Money-Ammo had another advantage, so in the end a big sense-free "Pay-to-Win" Game.

In MWO i hope to see exciting lance wars, maybe in the future galactic crusades between the houses of the inner sphere. Maybe they implement same "guild" system, e.g. runnig a mercenary company helping in that galactic crusade conquering planet by planet fighting side-by-side with the regular house divisions ?

Then even the owner of the biggest fully equipped Atlas would find a "deeper meaning" in MWO.

IF you take the time to search the forums you will find that his has been discussed, rediscussed and beaten to death many times over.
It would have taken you far less time to search for this instead of posting yet another thread on the subject.

I strongly recommend that you in the future use the search feature on the forums here before making a post about something, most likely you can find all the inf you need by doing that.

I would strongly suggest people starting making strongly worded letters about telling other people what to do on a game forum!

Wrong.....since ALL Founders are in now its been Dev-stated that you ARE allowed to tell you are in, as its pretty clear anyways. Founder tag = you're in for sure.....

Nothing else is allowed to be said....only that you are in, and thats not even necessary if you look at the tag ;)

Well, in for sure if you've agreed to the NDA and AUP and have a working computer! LOL
