So give the wasp and stinger super jump jet quirks. Let two jets do the work of six. And give it armor/structure quirks. And locust-like weapon quirks. That helps address the tonnage shortage and it won’t be able to boat anything like the piranha does.

All in all, that would be a lot of effort and resources to produce a pair of light 'Mechs that would have limited sales anyway. PGI knows why they are offering mostly assaults and heavies.
