I can't join any games on the NA only lobbies. I've read the update and understand it's a timeout issue. Thing is, this is every game I tried today (4 December). Is this the current state of the game/servers until the fix is applied? Before it only happened once ever 10ish games, now it's every game.

Try disabling EU and NA servers and enabling the Oceanic server. Maybe it could help.

I appreciate the "try another server" suggestion, but that won't work with the current timeout issues MWO is having. First official word was to disable EU and run NA/OC only. Selecting another server (that's more than 200ms ping away) won't solve the current state of MWO.

I have the same issue, or at least the same error message. Started happening about two weeks ago. Previously I solved it by enabling VPN, but today it doesn't help.
I go through map voting, then the "Initiating drop" screen with animated pictures, and as soon as the map starts loading I'm back into the garage.

Simultaneously, I'm getting another bug: only 16 of my mechs are shown, instead of 76 (no, it's not a filter issue).

VPN will not help in this case: This particular problem is on the game server's side.

The corrective game patch should be out on the 13. XII. 2023.

Server error or some connection problem between the server and your game client. Try closing the client and then logging in. If your 'Mechs do not show up, do not panic. Your 'Mechs should return in 15-20 minutes anyway.

I can see it's on their end, but for a while VPN clearly did help. I was reliably able to play on NA every time with it, and reliably unable without it.
Also, I only have 4G internet and I feed it from my smartphone to PCs via Wi-Fi access point. For two days I was reliably able to play when receiving Internet through phone A, but not phone B. Despite them having SIM cards of the same provider.

Same issues here. Damn shame, grabbed a bunch of stuff during the sales and haven't been able to play. Doesn't matter what region is selected. All of it loads to the screen right before the lobby, and dumps me right back to the main screen.
