I Hate Lrms, But What Did You Do...

I literally whined in every match that “lrm trash meta game”, they were hindered mainly by damage out of nowhere, which cut off half of the fur, but now this is some kind of joke. "Slow Spell Dot in an arena shooter." Now they really need to create these boring open maps with the excuse of "but what about the LRM players". It seems that 900+ fast lrms prevented them from sniping in their favorite "stand and shoot at defenseless targets" style.

There is something clever in the patch note with ghostly heat for CLAN LRMs, so if they increase the projectile flight speed (now the LRM is just a useless weight compared to any other weapon), then we will probably get another buff for the Clans in comparison with weak ISs . Two in one, pgi :)

LRM received a too strong and harsh NERF. There was one game, but it became completely different. This is TOO SLOW projectile speed.

They had to be weakened somehow - I am convinced of this from personal experience. Experience of playing in previous patches of this game on the LRM boat, including.

In the patch note that is making the news, they increase the power of clan LRMs by manipulating ghost heat mechanics. LRMs of the internal sphere are losing their advantage, but this will be absolutely unnoticeable, since LRMs as a whole are useless.

Thus, if we get a general LRM buff, we WILL ALREADY FEEL a nerf to the internal sphere LRMs, compared to the clan ones.

I also want to say - I like dodging a wall of rockets at the last moment (because they are now much slower and it's possible), but having tried my boat LRMs (including ATMs) - it would be cool if they only slowed down at the end segment, and did not feel like a dot that you hung on the target.
The problem this dot is hard to hang and easy to break, minimizing, if not zero, all the damage you can contribute as a player on one of the sides. Is that current LRMs are now viable in extremely limited game situations that occur extremely rarely - when the target player simply stands in one place for a long time, not trying at all / not being able to go behind any cover. Light bellows that crawl out of inconvenient places are now better able to deal with lrms. Their “dot” actually manages to reach the entire target in this case.

Ya know what I hate more than LRMs? SNIPERS THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA ARE THERE a good example of this is the stealth thantos with 2 GAUSS RIFLES.... almost impossible to see from range.

Yeah, instead of going whoosh-whoosh with 60 missiles and useful quirks, you’ll be able to go WHOOSH with 60 missiles with no quirks whatsoever and more heat.

thankfully they are gonna nerf ECM down to a 90 bubble back like it was when LRMS could kinda rain down death and destruction.

i wish they would buff counter to 180m while leaving bubble radius at 120. encourage more heavy use of the counter mode (nobody runs counter).

LRMs haven't really been nerfed for a while, though? In fact, even prior to the Longbow pack's release, I was wondering about why we started to see more LRMs again... In any case, LRMs are getting a buff for multi-hardpoint systems tomorrow, with the smallest LRMs and ATMs being removed from the heat scale limit - so you can stack LRM5s with LRM20s, for example.

I run counter, on the rare occasion it's useful. The problem is that to use counter mode you have to give up ECM coverage. So unless I'm in a basement or something, it's generally not worth negating one enemy ECM by damping my entire ECM bubble - not really a range issue.

Oh, you say bout this meme TNS-5S STEALTH+2gauss builds. Well, they usually look pathetic on my tier. In comparison with the NTG-N 2 Gauss + 2 laser + ECM, is a meme assembly, although the NTG pretends to be a laser flashlight.

Please, re-read the Patch Notes and try to understand what they mean. Nothing you said makes any sense. LRMs have not been nerfed in quite some time.

They ate a noticeable velocity nerf earlier this fall, same time HAGs and the Scaleshot were added to the game. Balance! (™)

Ok, this was in August. OP still doesn't make any sense. Since the December patch changes IS LRM5s and Clan LRM5s (also ATM3s) in the same manner.
