There is something clever in the patch note with ghostly heat for CLAN LRMs, so if they increase the projectile flight speed (now the LRM is just a useless weight compared to any other weapon), then we will probably get another buff for the Clans in comparison with weak ISs . Two in one, pgi

In the patch note that is making the news, they increase the power of clan LRMs by manipulating ghost heat mechanics. LRMs of the internal sphere are losing their advantage, but this will be absolutely unnoticeable, since LRMs as a whole are useless.
Thus, if we get a general LRM buff, we WILL ALREADY FEEL a nerf to the internal sphere LRMs, compared to the clan ones.

The problem this dot is hard to hang and easy to break, minimizing, if not zero, all the damage you can contribute as a player on one of the sides. Is that current LRMs are now viable in extremely limited game situations that occur extremely rarely - when the target player simply stands in one place for a long time, not trying at all / not being able to go behind any cover. Light bellows that crawl out of inconvenient places are now better able to deal with lrms. Their “dot” actually manages to reach the entire target in this case.

I run counter, on the rare occasion it's useful. The problem is that to use counter mode you have to give up ECM coverage. So unless I'm in a basement or something, it's generally not worth negating one enemy ECM by damping my entire ECM bubble - not really a range issue.

Please, re-read the Patch Notes and try to understand what they mean. Nothing you said makes any sense. LRMs have not been nerfed in quite some time.
