It's weird that DISCONNECTED mechs count too because usually their hitboxes get messed up and you can't Headshot them correctly ?!

You need the AFK/IDLE ones instead

That is from MechWarrior 5 and IMHO the HUD in that game is the lesser version compared to the one in MWO

Sorry but even after playing this game for so long now that achievement is nothing else than one of those things that not one normal player should ever reach !!

To get it you pretty much have to be a "no-lifer" and play this game waaaay too much...

That means you are playing the game correctly in a Light mech and staying together with your Team so it shouldn't be even a challenge to get during regular decent gameplay!

Again :

AFK/IDLE Players are your best chance because Disconnected Players are not reliable !!!

Not necessarily. Many fast and mobile light 'Mechs (often with Stealth armor) can be more useful when operating alone rather than just staying with their team.

Headshot finished thanks to AFK Flea but i doubt that is the way people should get rewards during an event ...

Headshot objective sucks. I have 8 headshots total from 3000 matches. With 9000 components destroyed in total, chances of me scoring headshot in normal game is 0.008%.

But I was lucky getting my headshot for event. Jumped into Mist Lynx with 4 flamers and 8 MGs, first match I find afk Black Knight, had some trouble guessing where his "head" is, but managed to headshot him.

Get this, to complete event objective, you have to find AFK guy and nail him in the head. Not really a fun thing to do.

Who ever thought of having the head shot mission as part of the mission chain, may they be forever plagued with packet loss and disconnects. So fun to see someone on my team after we've been wiped out sitting afk in spawn and some light gets a free head shot from them, and when I finally see someone who is afk on the other team, they've got their face buried into a building. Fun. Fun. FUN.

I have been hunting for it couple days... missed several opportunities (DC/AFK), missed during matches (scored several HS with lasers, but not enough dmg during 2 volleys, so I switched to flea and start to run around. Finally I sticked to Marauder with flamethrowers, we killed 2 mechs and 3rd one was BAS - luckily he got close to it, hit it with a flamer and BAS overheated....3volleyes from flea and HS was done

Still, it sux, I completely changed playstyle just to try this chalenge

I think only TheB33F with flamer Nova scoring headshots lefr and right needed nerf Are u from CZ as well?
