Considering the placement of fixed armor and structure slots (and other fixed equipment such as jump jets), this is probably not going to happen any time soon. Your best hope would be not an OmniMech Shadow Cat, but a BattleMech Shadow Cat (something like "Howl").

Yeah, sorry - pod space on Omnimechs are fixed. It's the price you pay for mixing and matching 'mech components to get the hardpoints you want.

A legendary shadow cat battlemech would be possible. Just have to go to cauldrons discord and make a pitch for it. They don't really come here much.

Although it's not the LBX20 that you are looking for, it's an Inner Sphere AC20 in that Shadow Cat Noble!

Be aware that this SHC-NO(LGD) forces you to equip the IS AC20, no matter what RT you swap into the mech!
And you cannot swap out the IS AC20, meaning that you cannot equip your Clan LBX20 either...

Yeah I know. What I was looking for was to have a single shot AC20, which I would have gotten with the LBX. But the IS AC20 option is better IMO. So I'm getting what I want. When I want to play any of the other variants of the SC, I can use the other ones that I have loaded out.

It's not inadvertent. They didn't do it just for you, but they do read the forums and pay attention to suggestions, whether they implement them or not. =)
