I've been wanting to write this post a couple of years ago, mostly out of the joy of receiving my first free premium QKD-IV mech.

I like the gameplay of this game. No, I love it. There are no one-shots here or stupid headshots out of nowhere. It truly feels like a strategic exchange in a first-person shooter. At the same time, this game has ample opportunities for maneuver - you can fly, jump, hide behind cover, flank, sometimes even just run away, like on some Solaris City and my other favorite “labyrinth” maps.
And it feels somehow different than in other shooters with this feature. You really feel how everything is balanced in terms of mass. This is not a take-off button, but a jet jump on a 50-ton tank.

The events that you guys announce do not force the player to be exhausted for a week to score points for several hours. I have seen this in other similar projects, I have seen how people achieve this, usually by the end they are truly, on a physiological level, absolutely sick of the game itself.

This game allows for creativity. Create your own crazy builds and test them, sometimes being surprised at their effectiveness.
This is a shooter in which you can create your own weapon. Create your own gameplay style.

I enjoy the fur style. They are detailed. Their design is laconic and realistic.

Just thank you for not making this just another farming mmo project with a balance for caffeine cheating snipers.

I've been one shot!

Beginning of the match, I hadn't even fired a shot yet, scouting ahead and stepped out from behind a rock on Canyon Network, never even saw it coming.

I was in a locust. Posted Image

T4 is the beer league of MWO, and most of my time is spent there. Pretty much anything goes in T4 and you won't always get punished for suboptimal builds and/or positioning. Every now and then I encounter good players who show me just how bad I am, but overall it's a good place to be, at least for this player. Posted Image
