Did PGI give any indication of releasing Mech Packs for the beasties in the topic?

No. Its just the legendaries.

There's a Hero mech (that you can purchase with MC) about 6 months after the Legendary mech has been released.

For example, the Timber Wolf Howl is now available for Hero mech purchase with MC.

So the Clan Annihilator and UrbanMech IIC should be available soon™ as Hero for MC

the problem with the urbie iic was that there were only 2 variants and thats not enough for a mechpack. but it works for a legendary.

Ok, thanks all. I guess I'll buy the legendary ones and wait on the hero. I prefer the whole pack but... m'eh.

I uh, what they meant by "Hero" Is that after 6 months, the Legend variant gets put out for MC, but you dont get the battlepass

The hero is the same 'mech but for MC instead of direct purchase, and with none of the extras.

The Legendary pack is always a better deal unless you've got tens of thousands of MC saved because you get $15 in MC on top of the 'mech and everything else.
