Is any one else getting this when trying to log in: 'Server Connection Lost'

Cause seriously, it's giving me fits. I try to log in, and then wham! I get the above mentioned error.

Someone in PGI, please fix this, and soon. Thx.

Someone from 2D20 group is having same issue. Plays fine then randomly spikes up to 500+ ping and they start teleporting and possibly even disconnect from server. Even in private lobbies. Other games they play have zero issue (CS, The Finals, etc) just seems to be MWO with the past day or so.

well, I checked my internet connection, and all is at normal running specs. I can't figure it. Gotta be a server side issue AFAIK. Waiting on Support to get back to me.

The issue does not necessarily have to be the servers themselves or your ISP directly, but somewhere down the line between the two. If there were more complaints, esp players who are from different regions/ISP than you, then it would point more to the servers or the respective ISP.
  • Steam or standalone version?
  • General location and ISP?
  • Restart Router and modem and computer?
  • Change DNS?
  • Flush DNS cache?
  • Try using a VPN, even a free one, for testing. Has the potential to redirect and bypass a problematic router server system.

There were things going on the past almost week for me. My normal, and normally steady, ping values would jump by 500 or so ms, I'd warp/rubberband all over, and I don't use lights much. I rebooted my modem, router, computer, and things got a little better. Then last night I didn't see any of the issues.

As previously noted, it could be or have been a problem at any hop between me and the PGI servers. Since it is gone, I have nothing to investigate.
