Oh come on man, obviously there's exceptions when it comes to disabilities. What I mean is things like the exploit macro that was being used for RACs until recently. Or macros that time your gauss shots to one microsecond between charges or whatever people are looking for. All I'm saying is if you can't time your charges to a millisecond blah blah whatever they want the script for... they shouldn't be able to script it. That all I'm sayin'.
there is no gauss macro, or script that will make you better at this game. i investigated the matter heavily. cyclers (rotates multiple gauss so you can always fire one instantly) cut your ppfld in half and turn a terrible dps weapon into a less terrible dps weapon. and auto-chargers (holds the button for the minimum interval needed to charge) make you waste your ammo by removing your abort capability and your ability to choose when you release. there is a two click method i didnt investigate, where clicking once would charge and a second click would fire, but thats functionally no different from the way it works normally other than perhaps being an accessibility option for those who have trouble holding a button for the required interval.
the rac macro was a bug in the game. im not sure if pgi fixed the rac bug or not (pgi does not fix bugs, usually). they did passively-aggressively indicate that this was an exploit and would punish those caught using it. but how do you even police that? install spyware on their computer. if pgi did that i would uninstall the same day.
besides the thing i worry about more is rng glitching on uacs. firing guns grouped together seems to cause them to lock up all at once. i believe this is because of the way rng works in the server authoritative model. random numbers are generated at the server, and i think its just sending one number instead of one for each gun to save packet space. thus you can force the rng to generate new numbers by delaying shots by one game tick. thought about testing this scientifically by recording, but 1. im not set up for recording, 2, im not sure what to use as a control so the comparison is apples to apples, and 3, my statmath is not strong, so im not sure i could analyze the data in a way to draw a useful conclusion). if this is possible it would also be easy to audit, as you would just look to see if you get an abnormally high number of rng calls.
