Lots of Kuritan content, some cosmetic and some will change the playing field of MWO entirely.

Fairly sure PPC capacitors were invented by the DC, so double the cooldown for more damage maybe? Would likely need to be more weapon limited perhaps to give standard PPC's some love if they need it.

They became IS standard tech in 3081 although experimental versions existed as far back as 3060, so they'd need to come with as timeskip to the end of the Jihad.

As for the mechanics, I have no idea if MWO could support a tap-to-shoot/hold-to-charge mechanic, but it would come closer to the source than just doubling damage and CD.

They wouldn't actually have to timeskip. The Blazer and the Silver Bullet Gauss are also experimental weapons Clan Wars/FedCom Civil War anyways. As is the Bombast.

If shields are starting to be a thing (which I think is awesome) now that we have a medium and heavy with a shield, could PGI make a Corsair with a shield? A good theme could be junk yard, give that Corsair a cool looking rust skin, make the bolt on something like a crane arm and some car shinguards and just make the shield a mashup of other mech parts. It could be the top of a king crap (since it's already a walking dinner plate) welded to a pair of charger/hatamoto shoulder guards.

I have to say, I am a bit miffed: you bring the Red Reaper to MWO and I find out by accident.
I am also happy to see my baby in MWO (even though you are redesigning it), but still... Would be nice if the lines between PGI and us Battletech writers would be better.
