Please,

Let us choose the arm the shield gets placed upon.

Right-handed persons will feel more natural with a left shield arm vs left-handers will feel more natural with a right shield arm.

Make the shield a mandatory equipable on the legendary mechs, but it really needs to be a manual choice which arm it can be equipped on.

yeah and let us choose what hardpoints go where on an omnimech... i don't think this will ever happen this sounds on the level of ammo switching to me...
