Patch/server Lag?

Seeing and experiencing major ping spikes, in game crashes and lag after the patch. Unplayable for me most matches.

Have you cleared your shader cache? Had some significant map changes and new skins for some mechs.

I have to clear it between every game or I miss the first 2 minutes to each match.

I did that, random lag spikes of up to 400 additional ping still occuring. I am seeing on some others as well.
Never had this issue. Usually ping < 28.

Do this without the game being launched: Go to your C drive, select 'users', select the user profile you're using to play the game, select 'saved games', select 'Mechwarrior Online', select 'Shaders' and delete the 'Cache' folder. Next time you launch the game the game client will automatically replace all the files and, for many people, it at least helps with the issue.

This is for Windows, I don't know if the game even works on other operating systems and if it does, I don't know the process.

PGI cannot patch this game without breaking something .....my ping is normally around 80-90 ....after the latest patch it when to 200-300 ...i mean ....REALLY?! its ridiculous! yet there is no help and nothing from them ...

works on Linux via steam and Apple.

the steamdeck uses linux so that was kinda a given.
