Back in old times I was laughing, when some players couldn't load within 90 seconds. I thought, on what potatoes should have they played to be unable to do it. It has never been happening to me. But after one of recent patches it started happening. And it happens in almost every match. Loading process just hangs in a middle and nothing happens for several seconds. It's definitely game client problem, as nothing has changed in my computer. About deleting shader cache. I've done it. It hasn't helped.

upgrading database servers is expensive, would you like to buy a mechpack?

or maybe try cache and hash. so that client side database page exists and is only verified instead of downloading a fresh copy every time.

I have just read an post regarding this.

Do you hae YouTube playing in the background before or during matches? Do you use adblockers to block the ads?

Apparently there is some nastiness happening there that could be interfering with MWO. I'm going to test it out later. But try closing the browser before playing MWO and see if things improve?

i solved that problem.

1. i uninstalled chrome
2. i switched back to firefox
3. i installed ublock

even then modern browsers are hogs, close them. all i do is play forum warrior and collect lootbags so its not too bad.

still doesnt make the database server any faster. the more mechs you have the less responsive your inventory is because there is more data to move. it also now takes 2 minutes to refresh mechstats in the browser.

Long loading times can be affected by several items, from the person's network, the pathway your system takes to the authentication + game servers, and your own system, loading assets.

And with the ID database issue from November 2023, not just taking a little longer to load some matches, my overall FPS has dropped. Take Solaris. I used to average 85+ on that map while averaging 100+ FPS on rest of the maps, but since that map then the patch to resolve that issue, FPS has been dropping. Fiddling with the user config has help some but Solaris is now down to 55+ with it dropping to 30fps, while other maps are now averaging 85+. And with each patch, since Nov/Dec, the overall FPS and times have worsen.

--Delete Shaders ( might even setup a shortcut to that folder)
-- Turn off AA if enabled
-- Checking Power Options (search bar :Control Panel, Power Options. Make sure a recent windows update did not reset it back to Balanced/Power Saver. Power Options, at least for my system, had been removed Settings / Systems /Power.

Why the AA part? As far as U can tell the strange out of nowhere fps drop happen even on total overkill machines. The tiny GPU load shouldn't matter at all. And sadly mwo without post AA is rly unstable picture. All my unit mates have random fps drops and sometimes long load times on totally diffrent settings and generations of hardware (one even is still running windows 7). It's the client and servers are garbage.
