I'm a big dumb dakka brain, I'm not sure what to do with this giant all-energy mech. Any suggestions?

And is there a builds subforum I should be posting this in? I looked but didn't find.

Haven't played the mech in long time but Idk just "normal" bnc-3m vomit / bnc-3m vomit or bnc-3m xpulse vomit?

Weapon locations on those might be unuptimal as I don't have game available right now and cannto see which are the highest mounts.

Seriously though, three of those mounts are high shoulder mounts (four if you count the head), so you can make good use of Heavy or regular PPC's up there, backed up by shorter range weapons.

It works well for lasers too. Like the following, 2 binaries and 2 ERML in the high mounts, 4 ERML in the belly. Two weapon groups, fire them all with no ghost heat.

The BNC-3M PPC build is a lot more significant now!

PPC weapons now does 5.5 damage even at point blank (zero meters), and deals significant damage below 'minimum range', ever since the July 2023 patch. (Previously PPC does 'zero' damage below minimum range).

Thanks everyone (and thanks for moving).

@Curccu, your 2nd link is very similar to my old faction play build, which was still on one of my 3Ms (I have two, for some forgotten reason). Mine just has ordinary mediums and an XL400. I was terrified of trying the XL in qp, but it turned out fine. Pretty good in fact.

It's great! Really kicks some butt when I don't play like a derp.

Haven't tried PPCs yet as I already have them on my other 2 banshees - great hardpoints for 'em on this guy though, and I've got to try Mister Peeps

Just don't fire all that stuff at once. Shutting down in front of the enemy or boiling your own mech is embarrassing.
