I would like to see a clan black knight added to the game.

See the Spirit Walker above

Would be fun.

What is hilarious is armor allocation differences between tabletop w/turns vs a live PVP game like MWO. :)

Quote

The Spirit Walker was sent primarily to Coyote Clusters that had received few other OmniMechs. Another easy to produce design, other Clans began to stage Trials against the Coyotes to obtain Spirit Walkers. Some Clans were not interested in the design, such as the Wolves, who preferred their Woodsman. The Coyote scientists expected the Spirit Walker to face opponents observing zellbrigen, so they concentrated armor on the front. During the battle against Kindraa Smythe-Jewel on Foster, the Spirit Walker's all energy-configuration, assisted by the Active Probe inherited from the Black Knight, was initially very effective against the Smythe-Jewel forces who were running low on ammunition. However, as the fighting on Foster became more chaotic, Smythe-Jewel hit-and-fade attacks easily breached the thin rear armor of many Spirit Walkers

You can never have enough...
1. heavy mechs
2. assault mechs
3. snipers
4. laser vomitters

And yes, this was sarcasm.

It is enough to check the content of the latest 'Mechpack: a pair of heavy 'Mechs and four assault 'Mechs.

Well, the balancing is done that way: the bigger, the better. Speed is simply not really woth much because the velocity of most weapons is so high nowadays that you get hit anyway by massive pinpoint damage if you pilot one of the bigger (30-35t) light mechs. The same goes for agility (not speed) of the 30-35t mechs which is also too low to stay for a meaningful time outside of a firing arc of an assault. I mean, they do not even need to park their bums at a wall these days when a light is nearby.

A good indicator is that there are no complaints of assault players because "lights are op" anymore Posted Image Not even about the "totally op" PIRs!

Grand Summoner and the Loki mk II would be better clan choices, and easily doesn't need new models to make, same could say for Blackjack Omni or Centurion Omni mechs.

We're getting Dark Age and Jihad-era weapons, why not give us Dark Age and Jihad-era mechs?
