Free mech of the month... sometimes IS, sometimes Clan... and you can wait for the next month's free mech (hopefully IS!)

This April free mech is HBR-Prime which is Standard Variant, so you can sell the mech for CBills and keep the Mechbay!

a) All Hero mechs and all Champion (C ) mechs can be sold off for CBills.

b ) All Special Variants cannot be sold off; it's premanently in your mech stable.
ie: (S), (P), (LGD), (R ), (O), (I), (H), (G), (CS), (TSP), (NCIX), all of these cannot be sold.

For example, if you buy that Stone Rhino Ultimate Pack, you can sell off the Hero mech (SR-K) and all Standard Variants for CBills. But you cannot sell off the SR-6(S) which is a Special Variant.

In the same vein, if you buy that amazing Stone Rhino Aksum SR-AK(LGD) Legendary mech, you cannot sell it since it is a Special Variant. To be quite clear, a Legendary Mech is not a Hero mech.

• The SR-AK(LGD) comes with that Legendary mini-Battlepass reward system.

When the Hero mech version of Stone Rhino SR-AK comes out purchasable by MC, you can sell off this Hero mech SR-AK for CBills since it really is a Hero mech. This Hero version of SR-AK is not a Legendary mech.

• SR-AK does not come with the mini-Battlepass reward system; it's just a Hero mech.

Yes, you can change the pattern of the Hellbringer to whatever Skin Pattern you want. Whether it's another Clan Pattern or something else like Phranken

You will always have people to find a foolish motivation to whine and moan about free events. It doesn't matter that you get free MC, a free skin unlock, a free decal, a free mechbay or a color. People will never be pleased with anything no matter what you try to do.

In the case of this individual who complains about, "Clanner crap", they have an intense hatred for anything Clan. Any forum thread that has Clan-related stuff to it, they'll complain and call it crap to an extent where it becomes childish.

Now I want to be clear, just because you are a fan of a certain team or faction and you hate another faction doesn't make you a bad person. We each have our own taste and opinions on certain subjects and that's fine. For me, I can understand hating the Clans since they were intended on being the bad guy that you want to see fail, just like how the Galactic Empire from Star Wars was intended to be the bad guy you wanted to see fail.

But in the MW/BT universe you have some people who take their hatred to an intense level to what you are seeing now. You even have some people who believe that the Succession Wars are the best era and anything past that is the devil and should be shunned and avoided at all cost, hence the Clan Invasion.

Sometimes, you have to wait until the 'Mech is added to your account. If you think that you have waited long enough, contact the MWO Support.

So, just curious if I done messed myself over. I already have the mech in question. I was thinking that I would get some kind of compensation (specifically maybe just half the cost of the mech in c-bills or something) for finishing the event. <since after all I'm not getting the mech a second time.

So main three questions are:

1: If you claim the final even challenge, it does not provide you anything but the extra slot when you already have the mech?
2: And you're better off selling the original and then claiming it because it won't provide that compensation by default?
3: There is no way to go back and better luck next time?

No, you are going to get the same 'Mech that you already own. It does not matter if you have already owned the same 'Mech.

You are going exactly the same 'Mech that you already own (with 'Mechbay). You will have two Hellbringer 'Mechs.

If you already own the standard HBR-PRIME, you are going to get the same 'Mech - identical in all respects.

If you wish, you can sell one or another. There is not going to be any difference between them (with the exception of unlocked skill nodes on your original Hellbringer).

If I can recommend something, do not sell your new 'Mech. Yes, you will earn some C-Bills on it.

But in my opinion, it is much better to keep your new 'Mech and maybe try some different loadout on it. Or, if you really like your loadout, duplicate it on your new 'Mech. You can use your second Hellbringer, while your first 'Mech is locked in the game.

It's quite a nice mech; took me a little while to come up with a nice build without changing omnipods but once you figure out a good loadout it really is quite impresive for a 65t mech; those ballistic quirks are really substantial.

Thanks for all the MC/C-Bills/GXP and Mech Bay, a Free Born wouldn't touch that mech, but the C-Bills we're acceptable.

The Loki - as all OmniMechs - is very versatile in what you can do with its loadouts.
