Well this is pretty neat. Frame generation independent of cpu and gpu brand.

Still early days with some drawbacks especially paired with vrr type displays. But this has great promise!

Newest update has x4 frame generation and now full gsync/freesync support. Works well and a bonus is it works on any video. So youtube 60 fps content can be frame generated to whatever max refresh you monitor supports and it looks great. Even has custom scalers for things like anime to crisp them up a bit to go with the smoothness. This really helps out on some anime with detailed drawings but not a lot of frames to show motion.

New update and its a doozy. Frame gen up to x20 and an overhaul of the code so that as long as you can keep a steady 60 fps base there will be virtually no artifacting on x2 and x3 frame gen. Higher than that does start to break down on fast motion ala fps games but if it slow paced it works very well.

id rather see faster physics than rendering at this point. it occured to me in another discussion where a player interpreted interpolation artifacts as bad hit detection. then it occured to me if the physics tick is 30hz, and you are drawing 240 frames, then only one in eight is the real frame. even the real frame may be an artifact if your rates are floating and are out of sync with eachother (say due to 144hz rendering 4.8 frames per physics tick). realistically framerates fluctuate considerably durring gameplay and you are never going to see a true frame. as a sim oriented gamer this disturbs me to no end.

Eh you won't be using this for anything where you need pixel perfect accuracy. For myself I only really use it on one specific game and for anime and video.

its fine for story oriented games or games with arcade physics.
