I am trying to play mech5 on an i7 laptop with 16GB of ram. AS my laptop does not have any graphics card other than the iris graphics that comes with the i7 CPU. I do not have thunderbolt OR USB4 ports so I guess I am stuck with what I have. I am a big fan of the mechwarrior and was playing it when it was first released in 1989....... YES yo whipper snappers, I am THAT old, like before yo were an itch in yo daddies loins.
I have turned down the graphics as much as I could, which improved the gameplay quite a bit (yeah it was a bit yerky, so I figured the machine was being being over taxed) which improved things a bit, and I have had problems with the machine going overtemp and shutting down.
My question to the enlightend is...... Is there anything else I can do, any settings I can change, or am I gunna have to my back yard and dig up a gold bar so as I can afford a $6000 AUD machine so as mechwarrior runs properly.
What do you guys run mech 5 on?????
