I dont know if this has been asked before or im just making a suggestion? When i played Drop Commander back in the day we had RogerWilko as a Team communications program then Teamspeak1-3.Will the game=MW:0 have a built in comms system? or will we be using 3rd person software? Also one of the things as a drop commander i really needed was a better team locator on a drop the ones in the PC mech games were limited to 1000 meters so if a one of my players went off grid i could not find him or her to counter attack which ment if they went to far they could get killed without us knowing unless they were on comms.A newer modern command center type mapping system With a overhead map view of the battlefield with team indicators would be nice i could hit a key and bring up a detailed logistics map that was live. Then i could plan stratagies for my wings in battles and keep track of everyone this would also include a commander information pack of electronics as in probes, stealth detection, ect for my mech.
p.s Also a detailed planetary mapping system in real live time would help with all the known BattleTech Universe and information on planets, sectors won or lost or just information pertaining to that space sector or planet information would be real nifty.

Hmm. Information Warfare month. Does that mean February is Role Warfare? I can see why they announced this so close to the desired release date. Can't have the community going cold. Keep the time frame tight, the released scheduled, and everyone on their toes about what's coming next. Hmm, what are we gonna see next week...?

As it stands at this moment the game is slated for full release in the summer of this year. There is the possibility of a beta BUT that is not confirmed and all speculations. We recently found out this week the game is in a playable stage and is not just a compile of code on the developers screens.
For more info I would suggest looking up the FAQ and Dev Blog 0 on the front page of the site.
Shameless plug: No Guts No Galaxy Podcast has been following the game since the site launched, I would recommend giving it a listen.
