Maximum Speed TSP Atlas

The new TSP atlas look very fun, especially on brawl maps such as solaris city ! With max skill we can potentially reach near 100 kph to deliver 24+ DPS in the face of the ennemy !

I'd use 2 BLC 3 LPL/4BLC 2 ERML on the tsp atlas and use it as a masc version of the ANH-1P with the same build

I would probably get the Zeus since it has a few very nice build options, and the Zeus has always been a personal favorite of mine.

One builds I really like the look of is 2hppc 7smalls, because I love bracket builds and I think a fit like that has excellent potential to make a big impact on QP matches.

The Special T5 TSP Atlas.

Here is my AS7-MTS(P) Special T5! It comes with the starter pack to succeed in any situation and is equipped with all kinds of weapons for diverse and varied combat. Thanks to this, Tier 5 can enjoy the battlefield at 200%!

Ps: 25.3 DPS; 48.6 Kph; +1200 LRMs ammo; Why need MASC when you have 772/772 armour ?

The Atlas looks like a great brawler where it can use the MASC to quickly close the distance. Its high alpha can quickly leg mechs to allow team mates to pick them off at a distance. The Zeus can be a poptart or hill peeker using its high energy mounts. Its secondary weapons can be used for mid- to short-range engagements. The Cicada can be a pretty good escort mech due to the high number of ballistic slots on it.

Here's a toasty Atlas build that can potentialy destroy components after MASCing into range. The 2xSPPC, 4xMPL and 4xSRM6A can potentially destroy components at close range and allow team mates to clean up afterwards.

as7-mtsp

A poptart Zeus using 2xHPPCs can leverage the 3xJJs to hit targets over structures or get to elevated locations. THe 4xSLs and 1xMRM30 can be used for close range engagements where heat can be an issue when using the Heavy PPCs.

zeu-mtsp

The Cicada can have an XL255 that provides enough speed to scout around the bigger mechs and allow it to return quickly to deter lights or mediums. The 4xMagshots and 6xHMGs can allow continous fire and pinpoint damage versus any fast movers.

Looking forward to playing against more teams and get more matches played in CS24 especially since being in an Oceanic timezone limits me to playing against only a handful of units. Hopefully, we can make it to the top 30 teams but having fun and dropping with friends is enough for me.

I feel like running a very fast RAC5 version of the Cicada would be a lot of fun in QP. Being able to get into an advantageous position quickly and then blasting with the rotary would feel great, and with the potential for jumpjetting into unexpected places to get the drop on entrenched positions you could get a lot done on this fella.

The Atlas AS7-M(TSP) is by far the most appealing to me. I'd play speed brawl with it in QP.

Two snubs, 4 SRM6, with MASC and a 375 light engine. Solid punch, not too hot, light engine for survivability but still quick, mostly full armour, ammo in CASE equipped extremities. Use one of the CT energy slot for a snub make to make room for the masc in a side torso. Should be great fun in QP!

It's too bad it's not comp legal this year. *Sad Face*

My (our) goal for CS24 this year is to make top 12 again.

I would choose the Zeus in stock configuration, it seems hot but packs quite a punch.

If i would build i differently a MRM 40 in the right arm with the binaries on the right shoulder and left dead side could be real fun too as the mech is reasonably fast and has a good alpha to pop out of a corner and deliver some punishing blows.

My goal in CS2024 is to have fun and I hope my team does well, it will be my first go around!

I hope not only we'll break the prize pool, but also surpass the teams count of the last year.

CS is a great opportunity to have fun and make new friends. And it is all built in a game client ;)

I'd use that Cicada with all HMGs and full JJs in the tournament. Not competitive and arguably the weakest of the TSP mechs I know, but then again I'm just entering the tournament for fun :B

Messing around with the AS7-M(TSP)...
I found a fun build where you can shave arms and one SRM down to an SRM4, in order to fit the MASC in the side torso so you don't need to armor up the arms. You can also switch to a SFE (if people can say 'LFE' with a straight face, then SFE should also be acceptable) and use the MPLs t do a bit of Zombie'ing.

And also dear god MASC on an Atlas is terrifying. Atlases should not go that fast!

I do not play mechs with MASC in general as I lack a useful keybinding for it, and the TSP Cicada is still a Cicada, so by default the TSP Zues interests me the most out of the three. That seems fitting as the Zues was the chassis I used in my first live streamed comp matches way back in 2018.

The ZEU-M(TSP) default binary-based laser vomit build looks ok, so I would probably try that first. Given the mechs right side high mounts and left side low mounts left side corner peaking on sloping terrain may provide the most favourable trading results.

Another build option I would try would be making use of the ZEU-M(TSP) jump jets to poptart with a pair of heavy ppcs.

https://mwo.nav-alph...4c84a9_ZEU-MTSP

Heavy PPCs are not a strong weapon in the current meta, but perhaps a post-Worlds patch will change that, and poptarting is a good way to protect the somewhat fragile Zeus from taking too much return damage in a trade.

My goal for Comp Queue this year is to enjoy the queue as much as possible before it closes. Hopefully the team I am on can play many matches, 60 or more would be nice, and ideally we will also place in the top 37 teams and earn that special rewards Summoner.
