You can start a match with "invalid" Mech with no ammo during the endless ammo event but then get kicked and you auto-lost a match.

I don't have time to spend an hour looking for where you usually send bug reports. If you don't want to, don't fix it. You don't have a convenient button (or any button) inside the game to send a bug report, or the corresponding information on the site in quick access, so that I could press Ctrl+F, type "bug" and find where to go - neither the forum nor the support section on the site contains the word "bug". It seems that the developers don't really want to receive bug reports and, accordingly, don't want to fix bugs.
